Endless Landscapes
During the Northern Song dynasty, the young painter Wang Ximeng
created A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains, a scroll almost twelve metres long.
Nine centuries later, here is a landscape with no end.
Mountains, trees, boats and classical poems emerge
as you explore, drawn by code as they come into view.
Each seed reveals its own landscape. Keep the link to return to this scroll.
